Insights Series | Future of Work: Preparing for the New Normal

Wednesday, July 17, 2019 (8:30 AM - 11:30 AM) (MDT)

Description

The CTA Insights Series is a quarterly breakfast that takes a deep dive into an emerging technology topic. July's event includes an in-depth presentation from IDC analyst Holly Muscolino followed by a panel discussion and a tour of the Innovation Center of St. Vrain Valley Schools. Our upcoming Insights Series will focus on The Future of Work: Preparing for the New Normal.

Technology is rapidly changing work as we know it. Work is no longer bounded by a physical place or specific time of day. Organizations must adapt to a multi-generational labor force and one that is more and more task-oriented, target-focused and gig-based. And that workforce will increasingly consist of humans and machines collaborating to transform how work gets done. This session will present a framework for approaching the future of work. We will also present recent research that provides a snapshot of where enterprises are today, as well as an IDC MaturityScape for the Future of Work, that provides a blueprint for evaluating your own company and determining the steps that you need to take to get ready for the "new normal."
