Launched by our Women in Tech CO Council, our Womenar series are bi-monthly webinars that aim to identify and understand the issues facing women in technology and leadership positions. We invite both men and women to engage in these bi-monthly programs.

At this month's session, we will be learning about Colorado’s new FAMLI Program, which officially launched in January 2024. Three years after Colorado voters adopted a statewide program for paid family and medical leave, the Family and Medical Insurance Division is now making payments when life events force you to step away from work temporarily. We’ll discuss what the FAMLI Program is, how it works and what it will mean for Colorado employees and employers. Join us to hear from Jade Humphries-Graves, Branch Manager at FAMLI and ask your questions about this exciting new program for Coloradans!

We will also be joined by Amy Beacom, Founder & CEO at Center for Parental Leave Leadership (CPLL). CPLL helps organizations do the most important, and sometimes most challenging work of supporting new parents and their managers through this transition.

Join us to explore how parental and caregiver leave will impact Colorado companies, as well as women in the tech industry.
